mailcheck Now Works in Hostinger Mail and Mail Orange

Version 0.1.6 of the extension adds two webmails: Hostinger Mail, which many small businesses use for the email address on their own domain, and Mail Orange, the webmail of the French operator Orange. Here is what you get, and the one thing to know before you start.

Table of contents

Hostinger Mail

If your website is hosted at Hostinger, your professional address probably opens on mail.hostinger.com. The Tracking ON and Clicks ON switches now appear just above the Send button in its compose window. Opens and clicks then arrive as notifications and in your dashboard, like any other email.

Hostinger has its own tracking option in its webmail. Our switches are independent from it and leave it untouched: you can use either, or both.

Mail Orange

Mail Orange, the webmail behind orange.fr addresses, gets the same switches in its compose window. There is one limit: tracking needs an email written in rich text. A plain text email cannot carry the invisible image that detects the open, so if your editor is set to plain text, switch it to rich text for the emails you want to track.

The same rules as everywhere else

  • Your own re-reads are filtered out, so the count reflects your recipient only. See why we do not count your own opens.
  • Click tracking is a switch on each email.
  • The switches bar now carries the mailcheck logo, so you can tell our switches from your webmail's own buttons at a glance.
  • On the free plan, each webmail counts as one mail client: tracking works in the first one you use each month.

The full list

mailcheck now tracks emails in Gmail, Outlook.com, Zoho Mail in every region, Hostinger Mail, Mail Orange and SFR Mail. If yours is not on the list, tell us through the contact form: each new webmail on this list started with a request.

Conclusion

Update the extension, open a new message in Hostinger Mail or Mail Orange, and the switches are there. Chrome updates extensions on its own within a day or two; you can also force it from the extensions page.

Why is my email to Orange users not tracked?
