Privacy policy
Plain terms. What we collect, why, where it lives and when it disappears.
Last updated September 4, 2026
This policy covers getmailcheck.com, the mailcheck application and the API. The Chrome extension has its own, more detailed page: extension privacy policy.
Who is responsible
HYPER10N TECHNOLOGIES SAS, a French company, is the data controller. Contact: our contact form

The one case where we read content
Checky, our follow-up assistant, needs the text of your email to draft a reply that makes sense. It only receives it when you turn its switch on, email by email, and that switch is off by default. The text is stored encrypted, kept for 90 days at most, and deleted immediately if you turn the setting off.
To produce the draft, that text is sent to Hugging Face, our AI provider, which processes it in the United States. It is not used to train any model. If you would rather no message content leave the European Union, leave Checky off. Everything else works without it.
What we never do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not read your emails when Checky is off.
- We do not request Gmail API access, so we cannot send, modify or delete anything in your mailbox.
- We do not use your data to train models of our own.
- We do not load any advertising cookie before you accept it.
Cookies and advertising measurement
The site itself needs no cookie to work. We use one advertising tool, the Meta pixel, to measure whether our ads bring people who actually sign up, and nothing is loaded until you accept it on the banner. Decline and no pixel is inserted in the page at all.
- If you accept: Meta sets its own cookies and receives the pages you visit on our site, plus events such as starting a checkout. Meta acts as an independent controller for that data. Its own policy applies, and you can also manage this from your Meta ad preferences.
- If you decline: nothing is sent to Meta from your browser and no advertising cookie is set. Your choice is stored locally in your browser, not in a cookie, so declining does not itself create a tracker.
- Purchases: when a subscription is paid, our server reports the sale to Meta so we can measure the campaign, with your email address in hashed form and never in clear text. This happens because we are measuring a payment you made, on the basis of our legitimate interest in knowing whether our advertising works. It does not depend on the banner, and you can object to it at any time by writing to us.
How long we keep it
- Account and tracking data: as long as your account is open, then deleted on request.
- Email content captured by Checky: 90 days, or immediately on turning the setting off.
- Verification results: 90 days of job history on the plans that include it.
- Clicks on rewritten links: as long as your account is open, then deleted on request. See the extension policy.
- Invoices: ten years, as French law requires.
