Terms of service
Last updated September 8, 2026
1. Who these terms bind
These terms govern the use of getmailcheck.com, the mailcheck application, the Chrome extension, the API and the MCP connector, provided by HYPER10N TECHNOLOGIES SAS. Creating an account means accepting them.
2. What the service does
mailcheck tells you when the emails you send are opened, verifies email addresses, and, on the plans that include it, drafts follow-ups through the Checky assistant. The service works with Gmail and Zoho Mail.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and of your API keys. One account is personal to one person. Team seats are billed per seat.
4. Acceptable use
mailcheck is built for one-to-one professional email. You agree not to use it to send unsolicited bulk email, to track people who have asked you to stop, or to circumvent the anti-abuse limits of the service. We may suspend an account that puts our sending reputation or our providers at risk.
You remain responsible for informing your recipients where the law requires it.
5. Plans and billing
- Prices are shown excluding tax. Applicable VAT or sales tax is added at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or annually, until cancelled.
- Annual billing is charged upfront for ten months of price, giving two months free.
- Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your card details.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing page. The subscription runs to the end of the paid period.
- Verification credits reset at each billing cycle and do not roll over.
6. Fair use of the assistant
Checky includes a fair-use limit on AI drafting, currently fifty drafts per day and three rewrites per email. These limits protect the service from automated abuse; they are far above ordinary use and may change with notice.
7. Availability
We aim for continuous availability without promising it, except where a plan carries an explicit service level agreement. Tracking depends on the recipient's mail client loading images, which is outside our control: an email may be read without ever being recorded as opened.
8. Your data
Your data remains yours. See the privacy policy and the GDPR page. You can export your tracking history at any time, and ask for deletion.
Email communications
We send messages necessary to operate your account, including authentication, security and billing communications. Separately, we may send tips, product news, feedback requests of a promotional nature and offers about Mailcheck where you have consented or applicable rules otherwise permit these communications.
Where prior consent is required, creating an account or accepting these terms does not by itself provide that consent. Professional prospecting, where permitted, must relate to the recipient’s professional activity and is subject to prior information and a right to object.
Every marketing email identifies Mailcheck and includes an unsubscribe link. You may also object through our contact form. Opting out of marketing does not prevent essential account communications.
9. Liability
The service is provided as is. Our liability is limited to the amounts you paid over the twelve months preceding the event. We are not liable for indirect damages, including lost business or lost opportunity.
10. Changes and termination
We may change these terms; a material change is announced by email at least thirty days ahead, and you may cancel free of charge. Either side can end the relationship at any time, you from the billing page, us with notice, immediately in case of a serious breach of section 4.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing amicable resolution, the courts of the registered office have jurisdiction.
